In REFRESH, ETAT9 is optimising blade dismantling and cutting technologies.

REFRESH partner ETAT9 is attending WindEurope’s Annual Event in Copenhagen on 8-10 April.

ETAT9’s Magali Bazin will present the poster Cutting end-of-life wind turbine blades on-site in a sustainable approach before recycling or re-use.

Based on real-world experience developed during the REFRESH project, this explains how to efficiently cut a blade for recycling or reuse, ensuring the health and safety of workers and reducing impact on the environment.

It focuses in on three key areas:

– Cutting technologies;
– Dust control and measurements;
– Water recycling processes.
